Murray sits on the valley floor between the Jordan River and the east bench, and most of the yards we work on here were planted decades ago. Around Murray Park, along the streets off Vine Street, and on the older blocks near Historic Murray, it's common to find big shade trees, deep-rooted shrubs, and sprinkler systems that went in long before smart controllers existed.
